US Chelsea star Christian Pulisic shares his story in a new book, My Journey So Far.

Christian Pulisic, US men’s team captain and Chelsea player, talks about his journey from Pennsylvania to Champions League glory in a new book titled “Christian Pulisic: My journey so far.

The book tells how the 23-year-old’s dream of becoming a professional footballer came true, recalling memorable moments in his career and a behind-the-scenes look at his life on and off the pitch.

Never-before-seen images in the book show Pulisic’s drive and determination, from backyard juggling after watching European stars for inspiration, to setting the record for the highest transfer fee for a US citizen when he signed for Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund.

Photographs from his family albums include a young Pulisic playing in the U.S. junior soccer leagues, playing sports ranging from skiing to baseball, and his first visit to Stamford Bridge, suggesting what was to come.

The love for the game is passed on in the family. His parents met while playing football at George Mason University and went on to coach the game, which undoubtedly supported Pulisic as he pursued his dream.

Like Premier League striker Harry Kane, Pulisic also includes a children’s school project in the book, in which he writes: “When I grow up, I want to be a professional footballer. My favorite thing is to play football.”
