“Top Shooter: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski and writers Dead Pool come together to adapt George Saunders’ dystopian story” is a true description of a real film that actually exists. The action takes place in a state-of-the-art prison where inmates are forced to undergo a series of mind-altering drug tests in exchange for a reduced sentence. Spider follows the story of Jeff (Miles Teller) and Lizzie (Jernie Smollett), two test subjects who form an unlikely bond under the watchful eye of Steve Abnesti (Chris Hemsworth), an elusive tech visionary whose insane “living better with chemistry” philosophy threatens sanity (and life) ) everyone in the facility.
From our review:
Despite the dystopian premise, Kosinski adds a touch of Spider. The colorful cinematography and energetic editing contrast with the characters’ tragic backstories and bleak living conditions, and highlight the disparity between the chemically-induced highs and nightmarish lows of Abnesti’s experiments. Halfway through the film, Abnesti asks Jeff to describe the worst day of his life as the two of them using a drug to feel good. Jeff remembers the day his father left him, laughing hysterically the whole time. This general vibe of emotional whip running through Spiderand Kosinski uses his sinister undertones effectively.

From our review:
One of the important lessons Venomsuccess was that if unimaginative superhero films must be churned out, they can still feel worthy if fueled by smart, fun performances. Audiences go for the characters they love, but they also come for the characters they play. peopleactors who give them strange quirks and special mannerisms. Morbius this is what happens when there is a studio desire for another Venombut without much thought about how Venom associated with someone. This is just to tap into the growing crossover franchise. (As shown by a couple of pointless mid-credits scenes.)

The third film in the so-called “Oslo trilogy” directed by Joachim Trier. The worst person in the world It’s a romantic black comedy centered on Julie (Renate Reinswe), a medical student stumbling over a disappointing personal life and a difficult career path. Following her through four years of her life, the film explores Julie’s delayed maturation and her emotional addictions to love, life, and professional success.
From our roundup of the best films of 2021:
Trier pepper in magically realistic touches that further bring to life an already compelling scenario supported by detailed 3D characters. Reinswe’s groundbreaking acting gives the film its brightest element. She captivatingly conveys her character’s conflicted state, with an enticing spark and genuine personality. Always memorable actor Anders Danielsen Lee, Trier’s regular collaborator, complements her performance with a heartbreaking yet intellectually challenging role as one of her partners.
