Men’s football schedule for autumn 2022
Austin, Texas – Concordia’s full autumn men’s football program returns from September 1st. In total, Tornado will play seven competitions and take part in 15 regular season competitions.
Concordia will open the season with a midweek match against interstate foes St. Thomas at 4:00 pm on September 1st. They will then immediately embark on a four-match journey, starting with two against Concordia Moorhead and Nebraska Wesleyan on September 1st. 3 and 5 September. The Tornados will then fly back to the Lone Star State to take on the Texas Lutherans on September 9 and the Shriner on September 11.
After almost two weeks off, the men’s soccer team will finally return home to host the Southwestern on September 23rd at 7pm. CTX will then kick off the conference with two away events. They will first play East Texas Baptist on September 25th before heading to Longview, Texas to take on LeTourneau on October 1st.
The Tornados will travel much less frequently in the second half of the season, as five of their last seven games will be played at home at the Round Rock multi-purpose facility. CTX will host Howard Payne on October 6 at 3:30 pm and Sul Ross State on October 8 at 7:30 pm.
Concluding their regular season plan, Concordia will first travel to Natural State to take on the Ozarks on October 13 at 3:30 pm. They will then face UT-Dallas two days later, on October 15th at 19:30.
Concordia will start a three-game home stand starting at Hardin-Simmons on October 20 at 7:30 pm. They will then follow up this match with a match against McMurry on October 22 at 3:30 pm. After a week of rest. , CTX will take on UMHB on Senior Day on October 29 at 3:30 pm before preparing for post-season play.
