Meghan Markle’s ex-husband she ‘couldn’t imagine life without’ may be ready to tell his story, royal expert says
Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle was a working actress married to a producer named Trevor Engelson. The former couple dated for several years before they tied the knot in Jamaica in 2011. But just two years after getting married, Meghan decided to split up, and we never found out why. Now, while the new book has a royal expert, he thinks we may soon get details from Engelson.
Megan once said that she “can’t imagine her life without Trevor.”
Most of the snippets we’ve heard about the Duchess of Sussex’s first husband and their relationship come from a biography written by Andrew Morton titled Megan: Hollywood princess.
According to the book, prior to serving Engelson with the divorce papers, in which she mentioned “irreconcilable differences,” Meghan appeared to be a very passionate woman, and her husband adored her.
AT Megan: Hollywood princessMorton detailed what the Duchess’ half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., told him:[Meghan] was completely up to her ears and seemed very happy when I saw them together … they seemed very happy together,” and Engelson “worshiped the ground she walked on.”
Obviously, everything changed when Meghan starred in a legal drama. Suits. Whether she wants to admit it to herself or not, Megan, who once said she couldn’t imagine life without Trevor by her side, was now building a new world for herself. “As Toronto became her home more than Los Angeles, the dynamics of their relationship changed a bit. Now she was an independent woman, earning a stable income, making new friends on and off the set, no longer dependent on her husband’s connections.
Engelson may finally tell his story in a new book
Another author, Tom Bauer, is currently compiling a biography of the duchess, and there have been several reports that her ex-husband might share his story in this book.
Engelson has never spoken publicly about his relationship, marriage, or divorce from Meghan. But now royal expert Neil Schon thinks he may have “an ax to work on” and is ready to lay out his version of events in an upcoming revelation.
“Trevor’s story is remarkable in itself because he never spoke on the record about his time with Meghan Markle,” Sean said on his YouTube channel (according to To express). “When you think about it, you read stories, if you believe them, about how she just wanted to take the mixer or blender, sent back his ring and stuff like that, every story has two sides. ”
Like Megan, Engelson is married again and has two children.
Seven years after she first said yes, Meghan had a royal wedding when she married Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex married on May 19, 2018. Less than a year later, on May 6, 2019, they welcomed their first son, Archie Harrison. And on June 4, 2021, their daughter Lilibet Diana was born.
Today, Engelson is also remarried and has two children of his own.
On May 11, 2019, the producer married Tracey Kurland, a nutritionist and daughter of the founder of the investment fund Stanford Kurland. They welcomed their first child, Ford Grace Engelson, in August 2020, and their second daughter, Sienna Lee Engelson, in 2021.
