Hello, goodbye, and everything in between trailer teases Netflix adaptation

Netflix has released the official trailer for its coming-of-age romantic comedy. Hello, goodbye and everything in between based on the best selling novel Jennifer E. Smith. After making a breakup before going to college, the trailer shows the young couple going on one last epic date, revisiting all the moments that made their relationship so special. By the end of the night, they must decide if their love can last into the next chapter of their lives, or if they must honor the pact they made and say goodbye forever.

The trailer shows two terribly optimistic young people Claire plays Talia Ryder (West Side Story), and Aiden, played by Jordan Fisher (She-Ra and the princesses of power) when they meet on their last date. Aiden offers a bouquet of white lilies – the flowers of mourning – and they set off for their last evening together before heading off to their respective colleges. In the trailer, the self-proclaimed “children of modern relationships” discuss the breakup pact they made a long time ago to end their relationship before embarking on a college adventure. Aiden playfully suggests that he is breaking up with Claire because he loves her and takes her hand as she laughs at him. The idea is that the two will take a trip back in time, revisiting places that have held a special place in their hearts over the years, to celebrate the bond they shared.

As the two relive their relationship and their friends’ dubious attitude towards the pact, Aiden begins to question their decision to part ways. Unfortunately, in the trailer, Claire appears determined to keep the promise they made. She doesn’t think she can experience something new and be herself if she’s still stuck in her old relationship. In a heated argument, Aiden declares his love for Claire, and the two of them must come to terms with the pain of such a frightening decision.
