Netflix recently released a list of the ten most watched movies in the world. The top 10 Netflix movies also include movies with stars like Red Notice, Don’t Look Up, and The Irishman. What’s more, movies featuring stars like Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock, and Leonardo DiCaprio are the most successful on the streaming service, with millions of users around the world watching them. Following the recent accolades the streamer has received for new releases like Adam Sandler’s Hustle and the award-winning Dog Power, here’s a list of the most watched original Netflix movies to date.

10. Spencer Confidential
Tenth place goes to Mark Wahlberg’s Spencer’s Confidential. It did not sit well with reviewers, scoring only 37% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, viewers gave it a higher score of 51 percent, watching 197,320,000 hours. Spenser Confidential follows a former police detective who returns to the underworld of Boston to solve a twisted murder plot.

9.6 Metro
Ryan Reynolds starring in 6 Underground was ranked ninth on the list. The film is about six people from all over the world, each of the best in their field, who were chosen not only for their skills, but also for their unique desire to erase their past in order to change the future.

8 Kissing Booth 2
Despite the bad reviews for Rotten Tomatoes, The Kissing Booth 2 has been watched by viewers for over two million hours. Starring Joey King and Jacob Elordi, star of Euphoria, The Kissing Booth trilogy follows Elle Evans (King) as she experiences her senior year of high school while her boyfriend Noah Flynn (Elordi) makes new friends in Harvard University. She then finds herself dealing with a distraction in the form of the “seriously seductive” Marco, played by Taylor Zahar Perez.

7. Irish
The 2019 Netflix movie received a 95 percent reviewer score and an 86 percent viewer rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Set in the 1950s, The Irishman follows truck driver Frank Sheeran as he becomes involved with Russell Bufalino and his Pennsylvania crime family. As Sheeran rises through the ranks to become a top hitman, he also begins working for Jimmy Hoffa, a powerful teamster with organized crime ties.

6. Unforgivable
The film did not receive much critical acclaim, but it was viewed over two hundred million hours. The Netflix series Unforgivable follows ex-convict Ruth Slater as she separates from her five-year-old sister Katherine after committing a murder and tries to find her after serving a 20-year sentence.

5. Extraction
Chris Hemsworth, starring in the 2020 film The Extraction, is about a black market mercenary with nothing to lose who is hired to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime boss. But in the dark underworld, an already deadly mission is approaching an impossible one. Following the huge success of the film, Extraction 2 was announced for a 2023 release.

4. Project Adam

1. Red Notice
The first place went to the popular Netflix film Red Notice. Despite poor reviews from critics, viewers made Red Note Netflix the biggest discovery in the history of the streaming service. In the action comedy, Dwayne The Rock Johnson plays FBI agent John Hartley, who unwillingly teams up with renowned art thief Nolan Booth, aka Ryan Reynolds, to catch an even more notorious criminal played by Gal Gadot.
