Stranger was a popular series released during the pandemic so viewers had plenty of time to catch up on good TV. The 2020 series focuses on a suburban father, played by British actor Richard Armitage, who quickly faces some troubling allegations against his wife. Coben is at his best when he writes a contemporary thriller that leaves you on your toes and asks for more, and it’s one of the best series he’s ever written.
